As a Royal Bank of Canada Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning Specialist, you will develop relationships and create custom investment solutions for prospective and existing clients. You will work alongside internal partners who send client referrals your way, leveraging your creativity, motivation, and sales skills to provide world-class advice and solutions that help clients achieve their long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored financial planning advice and solutions using a comprehensive array of investment and portfolio solutions, including proprietary and select third-party mutual fund solutions.
- Acquire and consolidate existing and new clients and assets, utilizing your expertise in financial planning and sales.
- Connect clients with the right Royal Bank of Canada team members to help continuously meet their needs.
- Develop external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and your professional network.
Requirements
- Financial Planning Designation (IPF) or in the process of completion.
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in financial planning.
- Proven sales and networking skills.
- Ability to cultivate strong partner relationships.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve clients with English and French-speaking needs.
