Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and service.
- Food Preparation and Service: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
- Support for Indigenous People: We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, and provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
