Kitchen Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and service.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
