About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Platinum Produce Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with our equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fabricating parts, repairing or replacing defective machinery parts, and installing new equipment.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Utilize oxy-acetylene welding techniques to fabricate parts and repair equipment.
  • Work Site Environment: Work at heights, in various weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a variety of environments.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
