Position Overview:

The Host/Hostess is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role involves welcoming and seating patrons, overseeing reservations, and ensuring the seamless operation of the dining area and bar. As a key player in our team, the Host/Hostess should possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings, ingredients, and daily specials. This position demands adaptability, outstanding customer service abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and seat guests, manage reservations, and address inquiries with professionalism
  • Ensure organization and efficiency within the restaurant and bar area
  • Build rapport with returning guests and deliver personalized service
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to elevate the guest experience
  • Promptly report any issues or unusual occurrences to the supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in a premium restaurant or bar setting is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Open Table and MS Office is preferred
