Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dual Role: Lab & Mobile Patient Technician to join our dynamic team. This unique opportunity combines the essential skills of a laboratory technician with the flexibility and patient interaction of a mobile phlebotomist.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including blood draws, specimen processing, and analysis, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Collect patient samples in a mobile setting, ensuring accurate identification and proper handling procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with patients in a friendly and professional manner, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technician program or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Phlebotomist is an asset.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
