Job Title: Funeral Director Assistant

We are seeking a Funeral Director Assistant to join our team at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with families of the deceased to understand their needs and preferences regarding funeral services.
  • Oversee the preparation of remains, ensuring they are handled with dignity and respect.
  • Plan and schedule funeral services, including coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate burials and cremations, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed.
  • Pre-arrange funerals, working closely with families to create personalized services.
  • Arrange for the transfer of remains from the place of death to our funeral home.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 hours per week.
