We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a key member of our interdisciplinary mental health team, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client populations, including Canadian Veterans and employees in organizations focused on workplace health.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based mental health programs for various client groups, including those with anxiety, trauma, depression, and somatic complaints.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide individual and group treatment for a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, and vocational rehabilitation specialists, to provide whole-person care.
- Consult with mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions to enhance team knowledge and skills.
- Participate in program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level to inform service development and improvement.
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.
- Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board Of Examiners In Psychology (competency with adult populations; clinical).
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning.
- Proven ability to provide evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches.
- Developing and evaluating mental health programs is considered an asset.
- Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers is considered an asset.
- Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset.
