About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Actinolite Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare high-quality dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Team Management: Supervise and motivate our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
