About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Kontour Dental Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials for procedures
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a clean and efficient work environment
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety
  • Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients for accurate documentation
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet the needs of our patients. You will be required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day, and may be exposed to repetitive tasks and stressful situations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Will train on the job for dental procedures and equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
