Lead Airworthiness Technical Expert

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee certification processes to support commercial initiatives, coordinating with multiple departments, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with Certification Delegates, Unit Members, and subject matter experts to guarantee that modifications and customizations to aircraft products adhere to applicable aviation regulations.
- Assist in maintaining airworthiness by submitting service difficulty reports, following up on safety board items, and coordinating corrective actions until issues are resolved.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of Transport Canada and DAO process requirements, offering guidance and interpretation of airworthiness procedures to engineering teams and management.
- Develop or coordinate Certification Plans and Statements of Compliance, monitor the completion of certification deliverables, and ensure the closure of TCCA Letters of Intent.
- Manage and coordinate foreign validation approvals as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Excellent writing and presentation abilities.
· Familiarity with the regulatory landscape, procedures, and obligations related to aeronautical product certification in Canada.
· Capability to navigate engineering Bills of Materials, comprehend configuration management, and interpret technical drawings.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
· Basic knowledge of project management principles.
· Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
· Proficiency in software such as ENOVIA, MS Project, Excel, Access, and SharePoint is advantageous.
