Airworthiness Senior Technical Specialist

Bell Flight is seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead certification activities to support commercial programs, interfacing with various departments, suppliers, and certification agencies.
- Work with the Certification Delegates, Unit Members, and subject matter experts to ensure aircraft product changes and customizing comply with the relevant aviation regulations.
- Support continued airworthiness by submitting service difficulty reports and following up on safety board items, and corrective actions through coordination with commercial programs, product support, certification authorities and others until resolution.
- Ensure Transport Canada and DAO process requirements are understood and provide advice and interpretation of airworthiness processes to engineering and management.
- Prepare or coordinate preparation of Certification Plans and Statements of Compliance and track the completion of certification deliverables and closure of TCCA LOI.
- Track and coordinate foreign validation approvals as required.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Understand the regulatory framework, procedures and responsibilities governing the certification of aeronautical products in Canada.
- Able to navigate the engineering Bill of Materials, understand configuration management and drawing interpretation.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
- Possess basic understanding of project management.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Software: knowledge of ENOVIA, MS Project, Excel, Access, SharePoint are a plus.
