Job Description

As a Technical Sales Representative for Nalco Water, a division of Ecolab, you will play a critical role in driving revenue and profit growth in targeted accounts within the primary metals, chemical manufacturing, and power generation industries. Your expertise in water treatment and sales will enable you to build strong relationships with existing customers and convert strategic competitive accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet profit increase goals in existing customer base and competitively-held accounts.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales.
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving challenges, and escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Related technical sales or field sales support experience.
  • Bilingual, French/English.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Able to travel to the US for training/meetings.
  • Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
