Key Responsibilities- Underwrite new business, renewals, and endorsements according to established underwriting guidelines.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex underwriting challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, including regular visits and timely responses to inquiries.
- Provide expert underwriting guidance to agents and brokers.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop pricing strategies for complex commercial risks.
- Participate in production calls with agents and brokers to drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date on company and industry underwriting policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with internal staff and agents/brokers to provide technical support and training.
- Conduct individual commercial policy and portfolio audits to ensure compliance and quality.
- Contribute to market research and product development activities to drive business innovation.
