Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Broker

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual customer service broker to join our team at the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP). As a key member of our Home & Auto Service department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our high-value customers and strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and written requests, processing changes and applying underwriting standards as required.
  • Resolve product and service problems, clarifying member complaints and selecting the best solution.
  • Review policies annually, offering tailored insurance solutions and explaining products and promotions in simple terms.
  • Attract potential members by answering questions and providing information regarding products and services.
  • Process rewrites and remarket following established new-business guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and update current rate manuals for all markets.
Requirements:
  • AMF license required.
  • RIBO license or commitment to obtain required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
