About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Solutions Delivery Manager to lead a technical team in providing project implementation services and pre-sales support to clients across North America. This role is open to applicants in Canada and the US, with consideration given to qualified candidates working in a virtual, home office environment. While this position can be remote, travel to client sites in Canada will be required (subject to COVID-19 travel restrictions).
Hexagon Safety Infrastructure & Geospatial is a professional sales and services team that provides map-based solutions throughout North America for Local Government, Federal/Provincial Government, Public Safety and Security, Utility, Transportation, and Military markets.
Your Mission
- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery within budget and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide pre-sales support, including custom demos, benchmarks, trade shows, product seminars, and user group presentations.
- Conduct needs analysis and respond to consulting and technical RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotation), crafting compelling proposals that align with client objectives.
- Generate professional services revenue by effectively managing projects and exceeding client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading technical teams in a project-based environment within the geospatial software industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach and a commitment to achieving team goals.
- Experience working with clients in diverse industries, including government, utilities, transportation, and public safety.
Nice to Have
- Professional services revenue generation experience.
- Familiarity with Hexagon products, solutions, and systems.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) designation.
