Job Title: Solutions Delivery Manager
Job Summary:
Hexagon Geospatial is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager to lead a technical team in providing project implementation services and pre-sales support to clients across North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical teams, excellent communication skills, and experience in at least one of our markets (Transportation, Utilities, Public Safety, GIS, Military or Communications).
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Management: recruiting, selection, hiring, team building, and individual development including performance management.
- Resource Planning: managing, coordinating, and scheduling of all projects, assigning team(s) to projects or clients in a timely manner in accordance with budget and specified client requirements.
- Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Activities: providing support for custom demos, benchmarks, trade shows, product seminars, and user group presentations.
- Needs Analysis and RFPs: performing needs analysis and responding to consulting and technical RFPs, creating corresponding responses and SOWs in both official languages.
- Project Plans and Contracts: developing project plans and negotiating contracts related to professional services according to and following the existing Intergraph bid management process.
- Annual Budgets and Forecasts: preparing and submitting input for annual budgets, strategic plans, monthly and annual forecasts.
- Project Status Reporting: continually monitoring project status and overseeing project status reporting and expenses/timesheet approvals in conjunction with ongoing business requirements and priorities.
- Services Revenue Forecasting: tracking, monitoring, and forecasting services revenue for the east region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Engineering, Geomatics, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing technical teams within a small to medium-sized organization (or division of a larger organization).
- Excellent communications skills (written, spoken, and presentation) in both English and French.
- Project Management experience for large to medium-scale projects.
- Direct employment or consulting experience in at least one of the following markets: GIS, Transportation, Utilities, Public Safety, Military, or Communications.
- High level of energy and commitment to the team focused on successfully meeting the objectives/targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the capability to take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional services revenue generation experience.
- Experience with Hexagon products, solutions, and systems.
- PMP designation.
