Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1622 Canadian Tire Gas Bar. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the workload of sales associates, ensuring they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales transactions.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Authorize Payments and Manage Cash: Oversee the handling of cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Order and Manage Inventory: Coordinate the receipt and storage of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales associates, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail management experience
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
