Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a high level of stock levels.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, including sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and implement visual merchandising displays.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
