Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Perform comparative analyses at the level of the various general ledger accounts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting: Oversee the short and long-term budget process to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Fixed Assets and Inventories: Ensure the integrity of fixed asset projects, inventories, and databases to maintain accurate financial records.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify and address any discrepancies in actual budget, MOD, and FGS material.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and forward monthly and annual financial statements to head office, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation of monthly tax returns to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Project Cost Management: Review project costs to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Customer Invoicing: Manage customer invoicing and follow-up to ensure timely payment and accurate financial records.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliation and bank deposits to ensure accurate financial records.
- Annual Audit: Prepare for and participate in the annual audit to ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Payroll Verification: Supervise payable employee and verify payroll to ensure accurate financial records.
