At Intact Financial Corporation, we're looking for a skilled Financial Analyst, Commercial Guarantee to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to manage a portfolio of commercial guarantee files, analyze and authorize loan applications, and prepare documentation for important projects. You'll also be responsible for conducting annual reviews, risk analyses, and financial updates for guarantee files, as well as organizing meetings with brokers and clients to build relationships and participate in industry events.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial guarantee files
  • Analyze and authorize loan applications
  • Prepare documentation for important projects
  • Conduct annual reviews, risk analyses, and financial updates for guarantee files
  • Organize meetings with brokers and clients
  • Build relationships and participate in industry events

What You'll Need

  • Degree in accounting, administration, and/or finance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in guarantee, accounting, administration, and/or finance
  • CPA, CGA, or CMA certification, or CFA designation
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of the guarantee industry, an asset
  • Strong business development skills
  • Client-focused, results-driven, and solution-oriented
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and autonomous
  • Bilingual (French and English)
