Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues, ensuring the effective deployment of our solutions while enhancing customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with our Senior Field Service Supervisor and operate from a designated location.

In this position, you will enhance the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our clients' operations by providing outstanding technical assistance and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Install, configure, and program security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
  2. Ensure seamless operation and functionality through system programming and integration.
  3. Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to security technologies, including both hardware and software challenges.
  4. Conduct thorough site assessments to understand customer needs and develop tailored security system designs.
  5. Perform system backups and apply necessary updates and patches.
  6. Address unique problems and scenarios based on customer requirements.
  7. Complete all assigned preventive maintenance tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
  8. Respond to and resolve urgent service calls as necessary, adhering to customer contract obligations.
  9. Manage projects or assist in the delivery of small service or installation jobs, encompassing engineering, documentation, installation, and customer acceptance.
  10. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  11. Provide training and guidance to clients on the effective use and maintenance of security systems.
  12. Partner with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for security system installations.
  13. Apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to meet customer needs.
  14. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in security technology to offer innovative solutions.
  15. Complete all necessary documentation for work performed or contractual obligations.
  16. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  17. Exhibit excellent documentation and communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
  18. As a lead technician, serve as the primary contact for field technicians requiring advanced technical support.

YOU MUST HAVE
  1. Technical College Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  2. 4+ years of relevant experience, including troubleshooting and diagnosing security systems.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Training/Certification in networking protocols and products.
  5. Proven ability to utilize tools and testing equipment effectively.
  6. Willingness to travel within the service area.
  7. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
