Job Title: Overnight Maintenance Technician / Shift Engineer

Company Overview: Accor is a leading hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional service and experiences. We are currently seeking to fill two positions for Overnight Maintenance Technician / Shift Engineer. This role involves a bi-weekly work schedule of 84 hours, operating from 8 PM to 8 AM on specified days.

  • Week 1: Mo-Tue-Wed-Thu (or Thu, Fri-Sat-Sun)
  • Week 2: Mo-Tue-We (or Fri-Sat-Sun)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, courteous, and engaging service to guests and team members
  • Conduct regular inspections of designated areas, including lighting systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs throughout the facility
  • Carry out chemical testing for boilers, chillers, swimming pools, and other systems
  • Participate in emergency response protocols and standby during critical situations
  • Implement scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • Demonstrate expertise in chillers, boilers, refrigeration, and HVAC systems
  • Perform minor plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repairs as needed
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous
  • Completion of a technical school program is preferred
  • Possession of a Building Operator Certificate or Maintenance Technician certification is a plus
  • Proficient in computer applications, including BAS systems, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair roles

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Physically demanding tasks, including kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Occasional climbing of ladders, stairs, and ramps
