What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Vulnerability and Threat Assessment. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative solutions and intelligence strategies to ensure the bank's vulnerability and compliance capabilities remain relevant and prepared for the changing threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement vulnerability management strategies to identify and mitigate potential threats to the organization.
  • Lead proactive triage and assessment activities of security-related vulnerabilities that pose a significant threat to the bank.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are planned, managed, and executed in alignment with the functional strategy and goals.
  • Lead the integration and global expansion of vulnerability management across the bank and its subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • Curiosity and passion for vulnerability management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of information security, including strong knowledge and experience of security frameworks and governance practices.
  • Strong prioritization and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment concepts, reporting, and scanning tools.
  • Working knowledge of developer tools and environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and deliver complex changes, with a proven track record of analyzing and conceptualizing data to meet objectives.
  • Ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technology teams and suppliers, on complex projects with excellent consultancy, advisory, facilitation, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer and/or IT-related disciplines.
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, GCIH).
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Mural, and/or Lucidchart.
  • DevOps knowledge and working knowledge of CI/CD architectures, designs, and implementation.
  • Experience with cloud security concepts and security scanning tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • People management experience and proven leadership and coaching abilities.
