Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team at the University Health Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating program activities and projects, coordinating internal and regional meetings, and ensuring the efficient operation of the program office.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate complex scheduling of internal and external stakeholders for portfolio meetings, events, and working group meetings.
- Plan and coordinate large regional multidisciplinary meetings and events, including venue booking, technical requirements, and event information packages.
- Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple competing priorities, timelines, and responsibilities of multiple programs, projects, and services.
- Develop project plans, outlining project processes, deliverables, and timelines, in consultation with the Director.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and identify potential obstacles or challenges that may hinder project timelines.
- Coordinate and complete financial billing and payment activities under the direction of the Director.
- Respond to financial correspondence on behalf of the portfolio.
- Manage departmental information technology and telecommunications resources to maintain an efficient and cost-effective work environment.
- Minimum completion of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate healthcare or business discipline or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of practical and related experience.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to handle confidential matters and materials.
- Experience in a Microsoft Office environment.
