About the Role
Bel Canada is a leading food company committed to providing healthier and more responsible food options for consumers. As a Food Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's products comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate technical documentation to support regulatory compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Canadian and American food and drug regulations
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to ensure regulatory compliance in product development
- Manage certification programs and conduct regulatory assessments
- Provide training to maintain team skills and knowledge
- Develop and update regulatory tools and procedures to ensure global policies and guidelines are implemented locally
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs in the food industry
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Familiarity with Canadian and American food and drug regulations
- Occasional travel to Europe required

- Proficient in Office 365
- Familiarity with Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards
- Project management skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
