Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Com-Net (Communication Cabling and Network Solutions) Inc. in Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our network and security solutions to generate revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify potential customers, understand their needs, and pitch our network and security solutions effectively to close sales deals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop sales strategies, analyze market trends, and set sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry developments to improve sales performance and stay competitive in the market.
  • Communication: Provide excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and/or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience within the security and network integration industry.
  • Skills: Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably within the technology or security industry. Experience with B2B sales and a strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Certifications: Certifications with various manufacturers would be considered an asset.
  • Language: Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English and French is an asset.
