Position Overview

The role of a Warehouse Shipping Clerk at D Way Foods Inc. involves critical responsibilities in the logistics and distribution sector. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine the most efficient method for shipment.
  • Prepare essential shipping documents including bills of lading and invoices.
  • Assemble and organize containers and crates for shipment.
  • Conduct inspections to verify incoming goods against invoices or other relevant documents.
  • Maintain an accurate internal record-keeping system for inventory management.
  • Document any shortages and manage the rejection of damaged goods.
  • Direct goods to their appropriate storage locations.
  • Package goods securely for shipping.
  • Unpack and inspect goods upon receipt.
  • Label shipments with necessary identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading processes of goods.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and ensure effective tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
