Job Summary

The Manager, Leadership Team Operations is a key role within North Island College, responsible for the efficient operation of the executive office and providing effective management and direction to the Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Leadership Support Team, ensuring the smooth execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement project frameworks, plans, and procedures in collaboration with the Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with college goals and objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate various committees and funds within the responsibility of the Leadership Team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team, including researching issues, initiating follow-up activities, and advising colleagues on decisions affecting operations.
  • Assist the Leadership Team in handling personnel issues, labour relations, and collective bargaining, ensuring compliance with college policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the performance evaluation process for direct reports, ensuring timely and effective feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum five years of administrative management experience, preferably in a managerial or senior support role within a post-secondary environment.
  • Experience with budgetary processes, including administration and monitoring of budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employees in a unionized environment and administering collective agreements.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
