Job Summary:

Omega Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Server Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Server Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within our server environment, focusing on Windows virtual server support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively maintain and improve the server core infrastructure functionality to meet client business requirements.
  • Perform problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution to ensure seamless server operations.
  • Plan for software and hardware upgrades and/or migrations to ensure optimal server performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the team.
  • Maintain operating systems and associated infrastructure software to ensure compatibility and security.
  • Develop system-related procedures to ensure efficient server operations.
  • Provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to other server team members on relevant aspects of hardware and software support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer focus and client service skills.
  • Proven ability to function in both individual and team environments.
  • Exceptional technical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to adhere to existing company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and practices.
