Key Responsibilities- Manage projects related to registered pension plans, savings plans, taxation, and benefits, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results.
- Develop and review pension, savings plans, and employee benefit documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and their legal counsel to provide practical solutions to complex pension and employee benefits matters.
- Stay up-to-date with legal developments and participate in training and professional development activities to enhance expertise and knowledge.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
- JD or LL.B degree and called to the Bar.
- At least 3 years of experience in pension and employee benefit law, or a related legal field, with a strong interest in pension and employee benefit law.
- Relevant experience in taxation is an asset.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
