Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team at Lightmatter. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture Development: Collaborate with our chip architects to lead feasibility studies and translate system-level requirements into electrical design specifications.
  • Design Engineering: Lead the analog design and top-level integration of integrated circuits development, designing complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Technical Reporting: Create technical reports and design specifications documents.
  • Design Validation: Oversee the performance validation of the analog circuits in the lab.
  • Production Support: Support production test development and ramp to production.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design.
  • Solid fundamentals of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs.
  • Experience designing complex blocks such as data converters, control-loop circuits used in power-delivery, high-speed interface circuits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in advanced FinFET process nodes.
  • Experience with Cadence Design Environment.
  • Hands-on experience in the lab with silicon evaluation and validation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas.
  • Ability to explain advanced concepts and understand how those concepts relate to other disciplines.
