Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician to join our team at Immigrate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety Equipment to identify any defects or issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety Equipment as needed.
  • Conduct life safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety Equipment.
  • Test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the continued safe operation of vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety Equipment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with fire suppression systems and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Previous manufacturer certification for vehicle fire suppression systems is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Prior customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work with technology and mobile devices.
  • Punctual, attention to detail, and a great attitude.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Physically able to work in restricted workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment.
  • Able to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks.
  • Must be able to travel for overnight and extended periods.
  • Able to work in multiple locations as required.
