Join Our Team as a Fire Alarm Systems Specialist

At Siemens Canada Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test fire alarm systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems to identify and resolve problems quickly.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Installation of equipment and panel programming experience.
  • Valid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certification.
  • Proven diagnostic skills – able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Knowledge of IP Networks, C-Cure systems, and MS-Office.
  • Customer-focused and good customer relationship building and management skills.
  • Good understanding of building and fire codes.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Siemens Fire Alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of intrusion alarm systems, access control, CCTV, etc.
