About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Attendant to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a Health Care Attendant, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and autonomy, while also promoting a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Health Care Aide program and current registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide directory.
- Certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR required.
- Previous experience working with seniors an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
