Advanced Health Care Specialist

The Alberta Health Services is seeking an experienced Advanced Health Care Specialist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a Comprehensive Health Services Provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and interventions to diagnose and manage complex health conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans and make evidence-based decisions
- Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and medical students to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Advanced Health Care Specialist in a relevant acute care setting
