Bakery Assistant

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes according to recipes and customer orders.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Operate machinery and maintain inventory.
- Ensure the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability, judgement, and team player skills.
Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
