The Crystal Ladder Learning Centre is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individualized speech therapy sessions and group sessions during designated periods.
- Collaborate with a team of Communicative Disorders Assistants to facilitate treatment sessions and implement augmentative alternative communication devices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure effective communication and progress updates.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Provide consultation and training to other professionals on the use of augmentative alternative communication devices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop recommendations, and write reports.
- Develop treatment plans and provide therapy as clinically recommended.
- Meet with parents to keep them informed on progress/updates regarding the SLP intervention and to address any concerns.
- Work with administration to ensure that all learners receive their weekly speech sessions.
- Plan for seasonal camps during designated periods.
- Provide parent training as clinically recommended to facilitate carryover and generalization.
- Participate in team meetings, discussions, and collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
- Implement, troubleshoot, and support augmentative alternative communication devices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
