About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive corporate legal support. This role demands a highly organized individual with exceptional multitasking abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of corporate legal documents, including but not limited to incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, and various share transactions.
- Conducting thorough reviews of minute books and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Drafting closing agendas and managing related correspondence.
- Engaging with attorneys and clients to clarify and confirm instructions.
- Providing mentorship and training to junior Corporate Services staff.
- Performing additional administrative tasks as necessary.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate legal setting.
- Possession of a Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with BC Online, ALF, Outlook, and Word.
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage a substantial workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
