As a Lead Culinary Specialist at Basted Baker, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service.
Education Requirements- No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, including:
- Restaurants
- Cafés
- Assess food portion sizes and calculate costs effectively.
- Order necessary food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food and supplies.
- Supervise kitchen personnel and assist in their development.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff.
- Manage overall kitchen operations efficiently.
Applicants should have:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a culinary environment.
