**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Consultant to join our team at Coastal Community. As a key member of our Relationship Centre, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our members and clients, providing expert advice and solutions to meet their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with members and clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to meet the financial needs of our members and clients, including banking, borrowing, saving, and protection.
  • Utilize our client service matrix and segmentation tools to identify opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
  • Input and maintain accurate client information into our CRM system to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Profile members and clients to determine their personal financial needs and proactively act upon opportunities identified.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible to be CIRO licensed as a Registered Representative in the Province of BC within 9 months of start date.
  • Complete all Continuing Education (CE) credits as required and have completed the CFP designation and be a member in good standing within 18 months of start.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, including 1 year experience in managing stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds.
