Deputy Corporate Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to join our team at the District of North Vancouver. As a key member of our corporate services department, you will provide strategic leadership and support to our Director, Legislative Services + Corporate Officer, and contribute to the development and implementation of our corporate policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Director, Legislative Services + Corporate Officer, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
- Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of corporate services.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on corporate policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our corporate strategic plan.
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a local government setting. You will also have completed municipal administration courses and hold a Certificate in Local Government Statutory Administration. You will have demonstrated technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience overseeing local government systems, records management, and electoral processes.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $116,842.20 to $129,497.97 per annum, a 35-hour work week, and a compressed work schedule. We also offer a range of benefits, including a nine-day fortnight and hybrid work options.
