About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Commercial Projects to join our team at Tari Labs, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex and politically-sensitive projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements through the lifecycle of a project, including discovery, solution design, procurement, and implementation.
  • Manage market engagement with industry to validate and refine transaction models.
  • Develop and present complex strategies and transaction structures to senior decision-makers.
  • Oversee project set-up and management activities, including work/resource planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Design and implement procurement approaches and evaluate bids.
  • Manage commercial and legal negotiations with the private sector.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Oversee and manage external advisors and/or liaise with internal partners.
Requirements
  • Experience working on broadband, satellite, and/or other utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to successfully navigate ambiguous situations and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Substantial experience in financial/professional services, such as management consulting, engineering, planning, or legal services.
  • Financial modeling, service delivery, infrastructure, or land use transaction experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with government clients or political stakeholders is an asset.
