Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Contessa Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our grounds maintenance and construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations of our grounds maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Coordinate and supervise the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Plan, manage, and supervise the work of our landscape construction team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
- Requisition and Order Materials and Supplies: Source and procure materials and supplies as needed to support our operations.
- Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during projects, and provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the work of our nursery and greenhouse team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week.
