As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product inquiries, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Merchandise Management: Maintain and zone the general merchandise area, ensuring that products are properly displayed and easily accessible to customers.
- Stocking and Recovery: Assist with stocking and recovering merchandise, including moving feature merchandise to its modular home and working recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
- Front End Coverage: Assist with Front End coverage, including communicating with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
- Store Maintenance: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
- Age: 16 or older
