Rally Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects within the oil sands, refining, petrochemicals, pipeline segments, and renewables sectors.

As an Electrical Designer, you will work closely with engineers and other technical professionals to translate client specifications and project requirements into detailed drawings and documentation. You will utilize your expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D design software to create accurate and functional designs that meet industry standards and regulatory codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop electrical system designs based on project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D design software.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve design solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 2-10 years of experience as an Electrical Designer or a related role.
  • Technical Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D design software (e.g., AutoPlant, Plant 3D).
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
