Assistant Vice President, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Innovation

We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our team as the Assistant Vice President, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and overseeing the execution of our strategy for the use of innovative automation and process enhancements to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency across Financial Crimes Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement industry and technology best practices in our technology and business intelligence capabilities as related to existing Financial Crimes Risk Management processes.
- Partner closely with the Financial Crimes Risk Management senior executive team, the Compliance Innovation leader, Platforms/Technology Services, and internal RPA Hubs to achieve our innovation objectives for more efficient and effective operations.
- Work closely with internal counterparts to plan and execute on aligned technology and innovation strategy.
- Subject Matter Expert in automation/RPA, NLP, AI, and machine learning.
- Clear, concise communicator – able to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders and educate on technical ideas and methodologies to groups and individuals with and without technical expertise in these areas.
- Undergraduate degree required, advanced technical degree including Master or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g. economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or operations research) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in building leading automation solutions to transform AML functions.
- Experience presenting to Senior Executives, Board members, regulators, and other external entities/stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver day-to-day commitments and complex projects on time and within budget.
