About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at IFS Dedicated Inc. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train and develop a team of 3-4 employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on the performance of the team and the operation of the equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to employees to resolve work-related problems and improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign work tasks to employees to ensure that deadlines are met and productivity is optimized.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment as needed.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments and work units to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong judgment, organized, reliable, and able to multitask.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
