Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our website, ensuring it is user-friendly and meets the needs of our community.
- Design and implement digital communication campaigns to promote our services and engage with our community.
- Write and edit content for our website and social media channels.
- Develop and maintain our social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts and engaging with our followers.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement digital communication strategies that align with our department's goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital communication trends and technologies, and make recommendations for how we can use them to improve our services.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by your supervisor.
- Diploma in Communications, Website Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in digital communications.
- Basic knowledge of search engine optimization.
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development.
- Interest in the latest developments in web, news, and social media, as well as a passion for the Lac La Ronge Indian Band's mandate and the issues that are important to our members.
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task with continually changing timelines and priorities.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check and Driver's Abstract upon hire.
