Mosaic Brick and Stone Masonry Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units. Your expertise will be essential in constructing and installing prefabricated masonry units, building patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations. You will also be responsible for estimating materials, tools, and equipment required for projects and instructing apprentices. Additionally, you will lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety procedures and be able to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages. You will also be required to supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard. **Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
* Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects
* Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
* Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
* Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
* Instruct apprentices
* Supervise other workers

**Requirements:**

* Bricklayer Trade Certification
* Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
* Valid driver's licence
* Own vehicle
